| i got mono ! what is up with that ?? mono ??? come on !! not something i need the 3rd week back at school...things were just getting rolling... and i get mono..jeeze.. how lame is that..and now im out of school and work (ima be poe....so very very poe...) for at least 3 weeks!?!? (ive just completed my 1st week of doing nothing...absolutely nothing !! and let me tell u how very overated that is...im bored out of my mind and to tired to do anything about it ..its the strangest thing ...like seriously...)
stupid mono gets in the way of everything ! i even missed the 1st real snow day...well not completely..i was standing outside the dumb emergency clinic in the snow storm for like 20 mins cuz the receptionist was late to open the place up on monday..but i feel like in my diseased state i wasn't in a position where i could fully have appreciated the wonderful snowfall...at least it hasn't melted yet.. :)
on a seperate note, i have in my posession a signed copy of jay chows newest album :) (does anyone even like him anymore?) now, its not worth anything because, get this, it's adressed to none other than yours truly...!! that's right, he signed it to ME :) ELIZA ! now i dono if u all still like him, but i love love loved him in high school and totally freaked out when i got the signed CD...i suppose ill always have a bit of a soft spot for him in my heart...haha its not a bad cd either..a bit short tho...kinda opera-esque? still cool tho..:)
now when my roomie gets her digital camera some new batteries i shall take a pic of said CD/ DVD (that i totally can't watch cuz its like a short film in mandarin..i thaught it would be cool music videos or something...poo) to show u all that i indeed am not lying :)

at the java u waiting for my next (and final) exam to roll around
today and started having a very strange conversation with my best
friend / roommate:
me: ow my teeth hurt ( i had just had my braces tightened...) i wish we had ice at home.
her: ya, well, we could...we just always forget to fill the ice trays.
me: i guess, but our freezer doesn't really freeze though.
her: well it would if we made room for the ice trays inside.
me: naw, its so old, the freezer just doesn't work...i wish we could get a new one.
her: it has to break for the landlord to get us a new one
me: d'you think we could break it in a way that doesn't look like we did it on purpous?
her: hmm...how could we do that?
me: i dono, but i'll ask my dad..maybe he knows..
her: that's something he'd know how to do ?
me: sounds like something he'd know about yea...
her: (laughs)
me: anne's (friend who lives in same building) fridge is broken...she's so lucky !
her: really? it broke? aww....i wish our fridge would break...she's so lucky...

so my midterms are finally over and i can relax right ?

nooo cuz now theres only 4 weeks left of school and sooO much left to do...

but the upside is that its now officically ( or rather in 20 mins it will be..) the CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!!!

| man..the thing at dawson was scarry..i'm sure most of you herd about it on the news..the shooting...i graduated from that college last year! i had a friend who was there when it happend..the shooter ran rite past her with the cops behind him...
and man..that girl that died...so unfair..wahts worse is taht the cops shot the shooter down and let him die instead of revive him and let him face what he'd done...
ew...there's so much terribleness in this world...
